يَتَجَافَىٰ جُنُوبُهُمْ عَنِ الْمَضَاجِعِ
Their sides forsake their beds, calling upon their Lord in fear and hope — Quran 32:16
The last third of the night is when Allah descends to the lowest heaven and calls: "Is there anyone calling upon Me, that I may answer?" This 21-night journey teaches you to be there — consistently, heart open, ready to be heard.
"How do I start praying tahajjud regularly?"
Begin with 2 rakaats only — not 8, not 12. Set one alarm for 45 minutes before Fajr for the first week. The second week, add 2 more rakaats. By Week 3, the body begins to wake naturally. The key is never missing two nights in a row — one missed night is forgivable, two is a broken habit.
Just 2 rakaats. Wake, make wudu, pray 2 rakaats, make dua, sleep. Simple. No pressure. Just show up.
4 rakaats + 10 minutes of personal dua after. Start asking Allah for specific things in the night.
6–8 rakaats + long dua + Quran recitation. You have built the habit. Now deepen it.
You cannot wake for tahajjud on 5 hours of sleep. Sleep 30-60 minutes earlier each night.
One alarm 50 minutes before Fajr, one 45 minutes before. Both will likely go off — the second ensures you don't sleep again.
Say before bed: 'O Allah, wake me for Your sake in the night.' This intention itself is worship.
Place your mat already laid out, facing qibla. The barrier of setting up the mat is removed.
Cold water removes the sleepiness that prevents real presence in the prayer.
Set tahajjud reminders, log each prayer, build your streak, and watch your nights transform.
