Grief duas from the Quran and Sunnah.
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
Indeed, we belong to Allah and indeed to Him we will return.
Source: Quran 2:156
Allahummaghfir li-fulanin warfa' darajatahu fil-mahdiyyin
O Allah, forgive [him/her] and elevate his/her station among the guided.

Wa bashshiris-sabirin, alladhina idha asabathum musibatun qalu inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
And give good tidings to the patient — those who, when disaster strikes them, say: Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.

O Allah, forgive him/her, have mercy on him/her, protect him/her, and pardon him/her.

Inna ma'al-'usri yusra
Indeed, with hardship comes ease.
